Drop blocks in columns of ones, tens, hundreds and thousands to represent the top number visually. Once this is correct the water level in the tank activates which can be raised (or lowered) to separate the blocks to be subtracted. Blocks may need to be traded down to achieve this. When the correct number of blocks are floating the tap becomes active. When tapped, the blocks to be subtracted will run out of the tank, leaving the final answer behind.
